Is it meta to sing a song about navigating the meta-verse? Aka social media or more specifically Facebook in its tired age of 2026? TIFFY sings of the sting discovering someone once close, died via facebook feed meanwhile statuses, updates (new job), pages (alt national park), and of course grandpa got hacked by the ray ban scam- scrolls in a dizzy blue light. Skirting the line of slacker rock, garage rock, and layered in fuzz riffs TIFFY, the dream rock project of Massachusetts' artist Tiffany Sammy, continues building layers in her dream rock world.
“Memorial Timeline” releases everywhere Tuesday 9/22 and is the lead single from her forthcoming EP Divine Hand, which releases Friday 10/23 via co-release of Portland, ME record label Repeating Cloud and Long Island, NY tape label Totally Real Records. “Memorial Timeline” is also a followup to her most recent EP I Wanted To Know released July 2026 via Repeating Cloud & Totally Real. The full EP follows Sammy’s jagged path of a digital world, social disconnection, heartbreak and the drive for achievement. Sammy with her live band crafted the song in Western Massachusetts with engineer and producer Justin Pizzoferrato (Dinosaur Jr., Pixies, Sonic Youth, Sebadoh) at Sonelab.
With countless shows under her belt, TIFFY has established herself as a formidable live presence in the Boston and New England music scenes, opening for Speedy Ortiz, Guerilla Toss, and as a part of music festivals NICE, a fest, The Town & City Festival, The Thing In The Spring, SOME fest, and more.
